"The Twin City Choristers really set the mood for the 2009 Christmas Season in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County area by your truly outstanding performance on Sunday, November 29, 2009!
My wife and I, along with many of our friends present for the concert were elated by the great air of professionalism displayed in your performance. The selections incorporated variety, precision, balance, excellent contrasts in rhythms, volume, tempos, and musical styles. Attacks and releases were very precise. The soloists contributed much to the entire program. In most cases, the group was right on pitch. The sounds, in each selection were produced beautifully and effectively. Overall, that performance was one on your very best that I have ever heard you do. Your addition of new members is a sign of growth and progress!
I was also very impressed with your uniform dress, which added to the beauty of your singing. It was very pleasing to see Miss Joyner back with the group, adding that special touch of professional accompaniment. It is always amazing how Dr. Tanner is able to bring out so much excitement and calmness of performance with such a easy-going and relaxed manner of directing. That is what I call being "cool," "effective," and "productive!!!" Keep up the great work Choristers!
